History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Personality: Makaria hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the south to a Junk Dealer, Makaria learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is baby faced.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Actor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Grom took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Raymond is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Raymond reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To be a Laborer again; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
