History: He was born into a rich family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Bendoo was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
