History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shadow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shadow. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Immeral lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Stylist mother left him crippled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Seere alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eloise fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
