History: Born to a Performer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Panana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Through the years after Arava was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arava's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Helen was born with her mother's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
