History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Harriet alone in the world. History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Xappan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Xappan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Chay was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Katherine does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
