History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tethren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tethren. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

She has worked as a Marshal like her mother before her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
