Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and she perpetually has her monstrous two handed axe ready. Her blue hair is heavily combed to the left. Her eyes are red and catlike.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pyra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pyra. Being a Mercenary kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He became a Guard soon after.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'6" when asserting herself. Her red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Fargas was taken on many hunting expeditions. Fargas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy red crest. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has a hunchback. Her red crest, when down, is lengthy. Her red unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Jheri was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jheri's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and money/treasure

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
