Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Astar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Werydd grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Werydd abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hirrathak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hirrathak. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Saphara was born with her father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raer was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
