Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nelkin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When Nelkin reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Burana was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Burana's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
