History: Lucan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south to a Bellfounder, Orsik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Bellfounder like his mother before him.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She is a Succubi in disguise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local animal trainer

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bucklal has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and someone believes her a fraud
