Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Sammal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Sammal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Sammal was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Trym and his spouse have recently divorced.
