History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born in the north to a Hunter, Maiathah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Hunter. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
