History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nelkin grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His bronze crest is singed and shortened. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the east. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a Hunter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
