Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear flannel. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. With wild brown hair. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vonana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: She wears a white costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. Her red hair is lengthy. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Miller. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: She got into the Miller business at a young age. One day when Robbie was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Robbie was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are black and catlike.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Qemuel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: He stands about 6'3" and wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His copper crest is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are a pleasant gold.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nadarr was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Gifted from a young age, Shamash studied abroad. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shamash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Arara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
