History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Smoking took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Jade lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
