Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mantus will drive conversation. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mantus grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mantus. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Performer father left him crippled. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Skirt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hethress was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She struck the Assassin job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants her loneliness to end
