Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear violet pants and tee shirts. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and red with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here.
