History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Roger liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Laborer and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Agnes was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Baggi was taken on many hunting expeditions. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Description: This late middle aged man dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time and is in decent physical shape. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
