History: Burto was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: He wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His brown hair is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thamuz embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Thamuz was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a great chef.
History: He was born in the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vicky was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She keeps her long brass crest kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are red and beady.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: Born in the west to a Healer, Traulam learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is wearing a long, pastel cloak, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her beige fur is smooth and relatively long. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dynamic grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dynamic. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
