History: Fistula lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Fistula was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Naal was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: Valanthe hails from a village terrorized by giants. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Valanthe was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
