History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Bounty Hunter mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Zepar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
