History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Kaladan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kaladan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Veit learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Fletcher, but he was a colossal failure. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

History: Orryn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has worked as a Baker like his father before him.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
