History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Brug hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to get a good night's sleep

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has achieved small success as a Butcher.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

History: Born in the south to a Bowyer, Sumnes learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties.
