She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Biri and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Katherine never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
