History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Tana hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Tana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: Anselm is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joser grew up listening to his father's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Jeweler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Jeweler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Jeweler soon after.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lia embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Jillian was born with her father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with her Miner father left her crippled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Stylist, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and to unite with her brother

Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Raam wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
