History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Description: A 3'1" eastern woman, she wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Personality: Seraphina hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Seraphina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Seraphina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Seraphina. Being a Navigator kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Purson lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Moon was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Tanner father left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Adelaide was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bookbinder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.
