History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Nagrette was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Tordrid was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tordrid's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tordrid and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Volen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting brigands, the young Tyna began to lead the lost caravan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
