History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Nogu is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nogu was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His brown hair is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local animal trainer

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
