History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Antrara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: Pogranix lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Norkruuth liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Through the years after Shautha was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shautha's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
