Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Reynard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Isabella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vanchu's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Vanchu is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Chenna's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Chenna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Chenna learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chenna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chenna. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Barrister mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
