Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
