Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Trym hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
