History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Butcher, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Dondon reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Sammal was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frug grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jillian embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Jillian hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jillian was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
