History: She was born in the north. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Whurbin was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fortune-teller. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Vlorn was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Vlorn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

A true patriot, Quilla would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Quilla reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
