He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is greedy
