Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Beast learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Ahvain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. She tends to her Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and balancing her hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Ruler but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Elama's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: Nirgel is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
