History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Audhild learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. Recently the stress of being a Layabout has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears tattered old clothes. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length golden hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.
History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Eida took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Paela isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Description: She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chaedi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears just a brown suit. His hair is white and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Flask liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
