Description: A middle-aged man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: Grumbar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Grumbar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Grumbar decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Grumbar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Jade took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Mindartis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Description: This light-skinned male wears violet painted combat armor at almost all times. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
