History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has no hair. His ears are large.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Skamos lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This western woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is baby faced.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shautha grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shautha. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
Motivation: To be a Knight again; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: An older woman who wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, she is not a threatening figure. Her rusty crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Kadana is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Kadana abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He usually wears his brown robe and has his sword always slung over his shoulder. His fur, while still mostly cinnamon, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Three has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Three was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and to get a good night's sleep
