History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He now owns his own business.

History: The child of a Baker, who enjoyed hunting, Oppleby was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Merchant. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her first spouse was a Tanner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Purah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She tends to her Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
