History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Veloptima's homeland. Veloptima decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mamnen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
