History: Sora was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bather. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bather for the past few years.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vaina grew up listening to her father's many stories. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. He now owns his own business.

History: Born to a Mortician, her father struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
