History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sword use. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Shipwright business at a young age. Tomi liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
