Description: This tall, slender man dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Lewis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Lewis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Audhild hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
