Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a crossbow on his belt. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. A true patriot, Rolen would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Blorg grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Blorg was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.
