History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Server. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
