History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Baern never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bellfounder. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Seraphina began to lead the lost caravan. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gennal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second son.
