History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a black costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. She has moderate length dark red hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Markosian never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born in the north to a Sailor, Alice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but she was a colossal failure. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to reunite with his absent father
