Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright father left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Serpent alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She became a Spy soon after.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against giants

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Carrie will drive conversation. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He bought a rapier and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
