Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Jak was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She sports a flattop fur cut. She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and many brigands want her driven away

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Galiena was born the youngest of three triplets. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: Tawar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Gifted from a young age, Berrian studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Great abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Great and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Kriv enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
